About Us
Queenstown has a funny way of bringing out the romantics in us all... and our story is no different!
Two Runaway Lovers who rekindled their "friendship" at a destination wedding over a Balinese sunset, a good yarn and a cocktail or two.
When a videographer collaborates with an artist, both creators of artistic storytelling in their own respect, then pair this with their goofy souls. Meet Robbie and Nadia, the lovers which bring to you Runaway Film Studio. The duo were both brought up in artsy Melbourne, each sporting European blood lines which mean huge families, and a whole lotta [cousins] love! As seasoned travelers, Runaway is actually what they do best! Robbie and Nadia are all for chasing sunsets, running into the mountains, exploring horizons and being completely present for those immersive intimate moments, especially when they're on a ridge, right!
Runaway Film Studio is a collaborative sequence of capturing your most precious day and delivering a time capsule so you can share and relive your heartfelt story over and over again.

Having now established home within the pristine Queenstown Lakes, and travel internationally to cover magic destination weddings, just like the one that brought them together those years ago!
No two couples are the same, and neither are their love stories or weddings. Your love and the way you celebrate together is a unique story and we are here to share the essence of that.
