Do you want to learn more about our packages or have a specific question? Hopefully these frequently asked questions will give you the information you need. If you don’t manage to find exactly what you’re looking for, just reach out. We’ll be happy to answer all your questions. We're also happy to chat about dogs, but that's your call..
How far in advance should I book your services?
As soon as you decide on your date get in touch to avoid disappointment of an already booked out day. We typically have couples book up to 18months in advance to lock in the date.
How do we confirm our booking with you?
Once you have let us know which package you’d like to book we will send you a Booking Deposit which is due within 7 days. Once the Booking Deposit is received your date is confirmed! We will also send you a Questionnaire and Agreement this will need to be signed and filled in asap.
Please note that dates cannot be held or confirmed until a deposit has been received.
Will I be able to review my film?
We offer 1 round of revision work free of charge (max of 2 hrs).
If more changes are requested, any associated costs will be communicated before the extra editing begins.
Do you cover weddings outside of Queenstown and Wanaka?
Absolutely! Runaway Film Studio covers weddings throughout New Zealand, Australia and other destination weddings all over the globe! Get in touch with us to chat about your plans, we'd love to be involved!
How long will we have to wait to see our film?
We know just how excited you are to share and relive your day through your film.
Editing times for the full film can take up to 90 business days and can sometimes be sooner and in peak season, sometimes this can be a little longer! But don't think we have Runaway (oh the pun is certainly intended!) - we are working hard in the editing room to get this to you as soon as possible!

Does Runaway do Events or Commercial work?
How funny that you ask, yes, we do!

Can I help pick the music for my film?
We can only use music that we have purchased commercial licenses for (this excludes most music from Spotify). Music is hand selected for each couple in order to best tell the story of your wedding day.
